Privacy Policy
How WWHS collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or work with us as a partner or customer.
In short: we only collect what we need to answer your enquiry, supply our products and run this website. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.
Questions about this policy or a request about your own data? Email info@wwhsbio.com and we will reply within 15 business days.
01Who We Are
This website is operated by WWHS (“we”, “us”, “our”), a developer and manufacturer of NIR-II fluorescence in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) products, test reagents and analyzers for hospitals and primary care.
We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our privacy team can be reached at info@wwhsbio.com or by phone at 0755-84235596.
02Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to personal information we collect through:
- this website and its contact, enquiry and download forms;
- email, telephone and in-person communications with our sales and technical teams;
- trade shows, distributor and clinical evaluation programmes;
- contracts, training and after-sales support for our products.
It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, or to the handling of de-identified patient samples in laboratories using our instruments — that remains the responsibility of the relevant hospital or laboratory under its own regulations.
03Information We Collect
We do not ask for patient health data, ID numbers or payment card details through any form on this website. If such information reaches us by accident, we will delete it.
04How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- answer enquiries, send technical documentation and provide quotations;
- process orders, arrange delivery, training and after-sales support;
- carry out clinical evaluation and distributor onboarding activities you have agreed to;
- keep the website secure and improve its usability in aggregate;
- meet legal, tax and medical-device regulatory obligations;
- send product and regulatory updates where you have opted in.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
05Legal Bases for Processing
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent — marketing emails and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time;
- Contract — delivering products, training and support you have ordered;
- Legitimate interests — responding to business enquiries and securing our website, balanced against your rights;
- Legal obligation — regulatory, tax and traceability requirements for medical devices.
Where other data-protection laws apply (for example PIPL), we process information on the corresponding bases, including your separate consent for sensitive information.
06Cookies and Similar Technologies
Strictly necessary
Used to keep the site working and secure, such as remembering your language choice. These cannot be switched off without breaking basic functions.
Analytics
Used only if you accept them, to understand in aggregate which pages are read and which documents are downloaded. No cross-site advertising cookies are set by us.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking all cookies may affect navigation and the contact form.
07How We Share Information
We share personal information only when necessary, and under written confidentiality and data-processing terms, with:
- hosting, email and IT service providers acting on our instructions;
- authorised distributors and local service engineers, where needed to deliver your order;
- logistics, customs and payment partners for fulfilment;
- regulators, courts or law enforcement where required by law.
We never sell, rent or trade personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
08International Transfers
We are headquartered in China and work with distributors worldwide, so information may be transferred outside the country where you are located. When we transfer personal information across borders we apply appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses, security assessments, or your explicit consent where required — and limit the data to what is necessary.
09How Long We Keep Information
- Enquiries — up to 24 months after the last contact;
- Business and service records — for the life of the contract plus the retention period required by law;
- Medical-device traceability records — as required by applicable regulation;
- Server logs — normally no more than 6 months.
When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it securely.
10How We Protect Information
We use HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege accounts, staff confidentiality agreements and periodic security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
11Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information, or delete it where lawful;
- restrict or object to certain uses of your information;
- receive a copy of information you provided in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing;
- lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise a right, email info@wwhsbio.com. We may ask for proof of identity and will respond within the period required by law — normally within 15 business days.
12Children's Privacy
Our website and products are intended for healthcare professionals and business audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
13Third-Party Links
This website may link to partner, regulator or social-media sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their content or practices; please review their policies before submitting information.
